I have not found documentary evidence of her marriage and death. Some other genealogies report this information, with reference only to older genealogies. The information seems sound and I will enter that here, lacking other sources,. I have waited a long time, still finding no documentation. In May 2014 I have decided to reference the early undocumented information, which seems to come from family sources.

A few genealogies like this one have information on this, with reference only to earlier genealogies. This information seems to come from family sources. Some reference information on her husband on Find a Grave, which includes further details. That reports that Sarah Elizabeth died in a fire when their home in Prentiss, Mississippi, burned. Her husband moved to Indian Territory, and died in Kiowa County, Oklahoma. Her husband's memorial on Find a Grave says Elizabeth (Bette) died in July 1878.
