Lucretia Autry 33 F b Tennessee
Lydia O Autry 9 F Mississippi [b abt 1841]
We know from family sources that the full name of her father was George Washington Autry. Her mother was Lucretia N, but we do not know Lucretia's maiden name.
1860 Federal Census, Franklin County, Alabama, 13-14 September, Eastern Subdivision, PO Frankfort, page 80-81, Hse #580, Fam #583

Dorothy C Mullinax 61 SC (C seems to be for maiden name Canada)
Wm F Mullinax 26 M Farmer SC
Liddo [Liddy] O Mullinax 18 [wife of William] [b abt 1842]
There is a discrepancy in the birth date of Lydia based on these ages. In 1850 her age is reported as 9, and in 1860 she is 18. Both censuses are in September, so the way her age was reported or calculated was different. We get the exact birth date and other information from family sources.
In July 2008, Dennis Comer, provided dates and places of Lydia's vital statistics where they were missing.
Sarah Mullennix, in email correspondence in 2007, had provided the year of birth. Dennis Comer, a descendant of Lydia, in an email to Orville Boyd Jenkins, July 2008. provides exact dates on birth and death, and place of death:
Birth 18 December 1841 in Mississippi
Death 2 March 1913 in Dickens [Dickens County], Texas
Buried Dickens Cemetery, Dickens County, Texas
Her parents were ?.
In 1890, we find Lydia recorded as Lydie O Mullennix. She appears in the Veteran's Schedule of the 1890 census, where she is recorded as a widow of veteran William Franklin Mullennix. The main census for most states and counties was destroyed by a fire, but the Veteran's Schedule is informative in some locations. This schedule does not tell us if Lydie had family members living with her, but we do learn where she was living. She is in Sidney, a town in Comanche County, Texas, where we know from family sources her husband William Franklin died in November 1888.

Note that the birth states of Lydie's parents are now given. This census tells us that Sarah Mullennix Shields, at age 44 here, was born in about 1866. Lydia died in 1913. We find that some time between the 1910 and 1920 census, her daughter Sarah and her husband John Shields moved their family to Tacoma, Washington, where they appear in the 1920 census. They are living in Ward 6 of the city of Tacoma, in Pierce County, Washington. That census gives us some middle initials of the children reported in 1910, as well as listing Sarah as Sarah M Shields.
In the 1890 census, Lydie was listed as the widow of W Mullenix
