  After his death, Robert's widow Izella married William Moore, a widower living nearby.In the 1870 household, we see Izella's daughter Mary Brown and her Moore chidlren.  Her next child was Calvin Moore, age 4, so born about 1866.  This would mean Izella Kidwell Brown married William Moore about 1865.  Izella's Military widow pension application reports they married in 1864.  This would put the death of Robert Brown about 1864 or earlier, after the birth of their daughter Sarah Mary Jane Brown on 2 August 1861.
