• "G.W. Yandell was my great grandfather. ... Rachel had a son, John, when she married George and they had two children; William Isom, and Mary Ellen.  My g-mother was Amanda Yandell, the youngest of Mary Bunker's (Huffstuttler) children.  She had three; Nathan, Charles, and Amanda.  After Mary died, George married Sally Smithwick and they had one child; Oma Jeanette.  Sally Smithwick died and George married Ruth Hickenbottom.  I think George died around 1905 and supposedly he and all four wives are buried in the Hartman, Arkansas cemetery.   The censuss reported Charley's birth date as February 1892, but he reported it on his WWI draft record as 14 October 1891.  Note also that the last name is written Yandles.  It sppears this way in some censuses and other records for George and Charley.
