• In the 1900 census, Tho as is reported as 14 years old, with a birthday in November 1886.  His name is reported as Thomas H Chapman.  In his Social Security records, his middle initial is A.  His WWII registration has his full name as Thomas Arrington Chapman.  The 1900 enumerator probably took the name as Harrington, accounting for the intial H in the census..
