Note that TJ's birthday is reported as October 1850. As common in the 1900 census, for some reason, this is one year later than earlier reported. You will see that in the 1850 census in October he is already reported as 10 months old. This also should have meant that his birthday was in November, not October, which would have made him 11 months old in October 1850.
