Margaret Reese.  Reported to have been born in Wales.  Arrival by ship in Colony of Maryland 1731.

Some historical records identify the wife of John Lewis as Margaret Lynne, which some geneallgies report as Margaret Lynn Lewis.  But this may be a different John and Margaret.  Their son Thomas Lewis is reported born in Donegal, Ireland, in 1718, which is too early for John Lewis and Margatret Reese.  Other children of John and Margaret were born in the 1730s and 1740s.

The genealogies have that her name as Margaret Lynne provide no explanation of the relation between the names Lynne and Reese.  Some spell the name Lynne as Linne.

One application for membership in the Sons of the American Revolution identifies Margaret Lynne as the wife of John Lewis, "Pioneer of August Co, VA."  Another page of this applicaiotn gives the birth date of Thomas Lewis as April  27th, 1713 and died in Augusta County, Virginia January 31st, 1790.
