Wife of Dr. James Montgomery Cunningham. They were married March 27, 1832 in Jackson County, GA. Daughter of Russell Jones, Jr. & Sophia Harris Jones. Children: Ann, Mary Victoria, Emily, Henry Clay, William Harris, Julia, Edward Russell, Sidney Smith, Samuel Emmett (or Samuel Early... listed both ways.)
Dr. James Montgomery and Emily Jones Cunningham were my GG Grandparents. Their youngest Son, Samuel Cunningham, was my Great-Grandfather. After many years researching my family I have not found where Dr. James Montgomery Cunningham is buried. He was last known to be living in Mississippi, had remarried and fathered more children.
