    CROUSE - Bryan Keith McSwain, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Aug 18, 2011 at his home.

    Visitation: The family will receive friends from Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of his mother, Diane McSwain, 1112 Hephzibah Church Rd., Crouse.

    Graveside Service: A graveside service to celebrate Keith's life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
    In order to honor Keith's request please do not wear black, but very colorful attire and no flowers please, only balloon bouquets which will be released at the graveside.

    Funeral Home: Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home is serving the McSwain Family.

    Crouse - Bryan Keith McSwain, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Aug 18, 2011 at his home.

    Keith was born in Gaston County on Sept 19, 1964, son of Diane McSwain, of Crouse and the late Jack F. McSwain. He was employed by Fourshee's Convenience Store and was a former manager for many years at various restaurant chains like Lil Caesars, Arby's, FATZ and Bojangles. Prior to that he was a teacher assistant with Gaston County schools for many years working at Webb Street then at Woodhill where he also led the Odyssey of the Mind Team. Keith was kind, compassionate and never met a stranger. People who met him instantly became friends or close acquaintances. His contagious laughter, smile and fun loving spirit will be greatly missed by many, especially his family who were dear to him.

    In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his only brother, Michael T McSwain.

    In addition to his mother, Keith is survived by a son, Aaron M J McSwain and fiancée Alicia Barnes of Crouse; stepdaughter, Leslie Colon and husband, Johnny of Chapel Grove; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Robert Lovelace of Dallas; four grandchildren, Aiden and Jackson McSwain and Hunter and Abby Colon; one nephew, Brandon Lovelace and wife, Catie of Lowell; and best friend, Eric Broughton of Lincolnton.

    The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home of his mother, Diane McSwain, 1112 Hephzibah Church Rd., Crouse, NC.
