Obituary - Robert Melvin Almond, age 77, died July 7, 2011. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church and Air Force veteran of Korean War.
He is preceded in death by a son, Terry Wayne Almond; parents, Cleta Almond Holbert and Charles Edward Almond. Survivors include wife, Betty Seibert Almond; son Robert Alan Almond of DeWitt; brother, Delbert Almond of DeWitt, Billy Wayne Holbert of North Little Rock; sister, Charlene Butler of DeWitt; granddaughter, Shayna Almond of North Little Rock; special niece, Hannah Wright of Russellville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services are 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church with burial in Big LaGrue Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Methodist Church
