In the 1910 census the enumerator really got confused on the entries for this family. You can see the supposed corrections for the eldest son and the wife, and yet many details remain wrong. It looks like a first level of correction was made, but that was wrong also, then on the second level of correction, not all the corrections were made. So the entries for Tinnie (the son Tiney) and his mother, the wife, things are muddled.
Perlina, the wife, is the final entry, but some of the second-level corrections did not get made. Her name was first correctly written as Perlina L and Wife, but then the main name was marked out but the P was left and a period added, making it P L.
