His Find a Grave memorial has his name as Gold Byron Dycus.  This is the only place where the B is represented by Byron.  In the 1860 census, he was Elisaha G Dycus, in 1870, Goldbury.  His father was Goldsbury, and he had a nephew named Jasper Goldsbury.  It is almost certian his actual name was Elisha Goldsbury Dycus.  Goldsbury is sometimes represented as two names, and his nephew went by Barry.  The name was very common, and was often Berry.
