Annis died after they had been in Arkansas, giving birth to their daughter Margaret. Her death was reported in the 1880 census Death Schedule. The record notes that she had lived in the location of enumeraton for 2 months. Note that her age was reported here as 31, but in the 1870 census she was reported as 26, so we would expect her 1880 age to be about 35 or 36.
