- Cintha may be actually named Cynthia. The form Cyntha is found, however, in many families in this era, and records for most ofthem vary between the two forms. The 1870 census has her as Cynthis but in 1880 she was Cintha and other records have the Cyntha or Cintha form. Her death certificate and grave have her name as Synthia.
