  This census record tells us that Mary's father was born in Oklahoma.  Assuming the enumerator got the facts right, then Mr Keen was born in Oklahoma, while Delora was born in Texas.  Since Mary and her younger sister were both born in California, we can assume that Delora met McKeen and they married in California.  Thomas Green had meanwhile also moved to California, where he married widow McKeen sometime before the 1930 census.
  
  Further investigation uncovered a genealogy that reports Delora's maiden name as Black, and provides information on their father Alonzo Thomas McKeen, born in New Mexico, not California.  So the enumarator in 1930 got the state wrong.  The California Death index confirms Thomas' birth in New Mexico, as well as his death in 1978, incdicates he and Delora were divorced, after which she married Thomas G Green.
