My grandfather: James Thomas Haney (6 May 1881 Hall Co., Ga)
His parents were John R. Hanie & Sarah Emmalissa Mullinax. She was expecting my granfather when her husband suddnly died in Dec 1880 leaving her with several children. Malissa is what she was called, born abt June 1847 Gilmer Co. Ga and died in Gwinnett Co Ga abt 26 Dec 1902 (before being sent to asylum (lunacy).
John & Malissa md 25 Dec 1864 Pickens Co., Ga, John R. Hanie born abt 1844 GA, probably in Gwinnett or Forsyth Co., GA, son of Benjamin Franklin Hanie.
My grandpa last found with his mother, sister & a boarder in 1900 Gwinnett Co Ga and later that year 6 nov 1900 he md Mary Lavada White.
My dad Clarence Haney was the youngest of seven. All are now gone
