  MRS. G. FUNSTEN Bilbrey, Rt. 2, 824 N. 5th, Frederick, Okla. 73542, is re …[missing wording here in the original published story; George H Posey], born 1827, Louisiana and married first, Nancy (maiden name unknown) [Allen], born South Carolina. Their children, all born in Cass County, Texas, were David, Laura, George, John and Robert.  [Records report also Thomas and James, born between David and Laura.]  His second marriage was to Frances Elizabeth Christian in 1877.  They had six children and he disappeared in 1889.

  Joseph was the first of the six chdlren the artcle refers to.
  
  In the 1880 census, Joseph is reported as 2 yers old.  He was the first child of George K Posey and his second wife Frances Christian.
  
  Joseph and his younger sister Louisa were enumerated in their houehold in the 1880 cnsus.

  Since George (G K) Posey married Fannie (Frances Elizabeth) Christian in 1877, the last two children enumerated here are Fannie's children.  The enumerator erred in reported the birth state of their mother the same as for the older children.  Fannie Christian was born, as correctly reported here on her record, in Texas, not South Carolina, as Nancy Allen, George's first wife.
  
  Though only 2 years old in 1880, his birth date is reported as 11 May 1876 when he registered for the draft.
