  Four years later at census time, we find Grace and Cass in Monroe County, Arkansas.  The date of marriage seems to indicate that the first three children listed below are from a first marriage of Cass.

  The age at first marriage here does not match the date and ages on Cass and Grace's marriage certificate.  Grace reports that she was first maried at 16.  That would be about 1910.  But they were married in 1916.  Could the enumerator have misunderstood, writing her age for the year of marriage?  She was actually 20 when they married, according to the marriage certificate.
  
  Cass is reported as age 24 when he first married, which would mean he first married in about 1909 or 1910.  This would match a first marriage and the ages of the three boys from that marriage.
