Onecimo A. Ortiz
Onecimo A. Ortiz, a charter member of Segunda Iglesia Bautista, and an Army veteran of the Korean War, died Oct. 15, 1999. He was 70.
Survivors include two daughters, Lova Villarreal of Dallas and Leah Ortiz of Corpus Christi; two sons, Onecimo and Lenn David Ortiz, both of Fort Worth; two sisters, Geneve Barrera of Jacksonville, Fla., and Rebecca Benavides of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Lorenzo Ortiz of Corpus Christi and Eloy Ortiz of Houston; and eight grandchildren.
Prayer services will be at 8 p.m. Oct. 17 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 18 at Segunda Iglesia Bautista. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
