His name on his grave is spelled Linzey. This is the only documentation I have seen that might be from the famly themselves. This may be the way they spelled it. But on his WWI draft registration, he himself signed his name as Lindsey, the standard spelling of the name.
I have not been able to find a census listing for Lindsey in 1910. By September 1918, Lindsey and Tillie are living in De Baca County, New Mexico, where he registered for the World War I draft.

Note that the name Lindsey gives for his wife here is May Tilley Mullins. Family information from the compilation of Mike Taylor reports her name as Susie Tilley Gordon Mullins. This is the name Mike reports from Oklahoma marriage records. We saw in the 1900 census that Tillie was reported as TIllie S. This also occurs in 1930. In 1920, the census records Lindsey and his family in Richey.

Looking at the ages and birth dates of the children, we can tell they moved to New Mexico between 1922 and 1925. In 1930, we find Lindsey and Tillie in Castro County, Texas. Here Tillie is reported as Tillie S, perhaps representing the other name Susie, under which her marriage is reported as noted above. this must mean her name was May Tillie Susie (Susan?) Gordon.

From the birth ages and states of the children we can conclude that Lindsey and Tillie moved from New Mexico to Texas after 1922. But it is hard with only this evidence to be any more precise. One genealogy provides the place of death of Lindsey, though it provides no documentation for this information.
