Notes

• The date of birth given for Margaret P Mullins in a seemingly reliable genealogy in  in Ancestry World Tree is Feb 1875.   However, this date matches the birth date given in the 1900 census for the person named Amelia.  I would have thought this Amelia was was Minty A, rather than Margaret P, but there is a two-year discrepancy.  Further, I found Mintie in Whitfield County, Gerogia, working as a houskeeper in the home of Sterling and Harriett Collum, with age and birth date that match previous reports of Mintie.  Mintie is lsited in teh 1910 census as Mintie Ann, and is living with her widowed father Lafayette.  They are the olny two persons in the household.  So it appears that by age 37, Mintie had not married.  The genealogy provides a date of month with month and year for Minty A as Jul 1872.  The age of 25 in 1900 matches Margaret P Mullins at age 5 in the 1880 census.  So the name Amelia of 1900 seems to refer to the same person as Margaret P in 1880.  Thus I am assigning the birth date of Feb 1875, as the Ancestry World Tree genealogy does.
