I notice that this sources does not even list the son Etienne reported by another source, in the line connecting the Scropes to the Le Stranges. William in this list has the same birth year as Etienne reported in other sources. I can tentatively conclude his two names were William and Etienne (Stephen). I will look for other sources to confirm this.
