- I found a discrepancy in Dorothy's birth date between the Texas Death Index and the date reported by Dorothy's brother James. The Death Index reports the child was born on 7 July 1929, while James (her brother) reported in April 2010 that her birthday was 6 July 1929. Because of the official record, I will follow the Death Index entry.
