Jack is the only Tugman or Tugmon listed in Bakersfield in 1960.  Note that no wife's name is given here.  In this same directory, J D's third wife appears as Flora Davis Maxwell, with no husband, but no designation of her as a widow, which we would expect.  This may indicate Flora and her first husband divorced.  Jeff Maxwell did not die until 1965, the year before Flora (Flo) married J D.  No entry appears for her first husband Jeff Maxwell, but Jeff's brother Clarence A Maxwell is in the directory.
