  "Hi Orville the Laurie Butler you have listed as Willa's child is my Aunt Susie, whose real name was Louise Butler born 3 November, 1936. She is still living and in a "Retirement Home" in Lafayette, LA close to her second eldest son Lynn Wood"s Home. Virgina Butler was born 8 June, 1939 and is always called Pumpkin a name her Dad gave her was she  was small. She is living in Virginia near her surviving Daughter Sharon. Her younger daughter Lisa was killed by a Hit and Run Driver many years ago."

  Louise never liked her name, according to her nephew.  She went by Susie.  Reid Butler III told me the story about that.
  
  "According to my Aunt Susie who I talk to about 1 or 2x's a month and her son Lynn about the same, the name Susie came because when her boyfriend, now late husband, Winston H Wood b1931-d1985 [and Susie] were courting, the Song "Susie Q" was playing on the Radio.  He knowing she disliked her Name Louise (which means Battle Maiden) began calling her Susie Q and Susie for short and the name stuck with the family."

  "My Aunt Louise (Susie) Butler Wood passed from this world to be with the Lord Thursday of this week [18 January 2018], if you have her on your tree.  She died in Lafayette Assisted Living facility.  While she passed in Lafayette, her ashes will be interred here in the New Orleans area with her husband Winston Wood.  Of my dad's generation there is only one left, Virginia Butler Tribou,  Pumpkin as she is known by the family, currently living in North Carolina."

  "Orville Boyd Jenkins, my dad's siblings were his older sister Annette Frank Butler Baudier, the the brother just below my dad William Ross Butler, Dan Benjamin Barnard Butler, Louise Butler also known as Susie, Virginia Butler known as pumpkin, and then Marshall Archibald Butler.  Just a quick mention about my aunt Annette's middle name Frank.  It was her aunt Annie's middle name as well.  Her aunt's, my great-aunt's, name was Anna Frank Butler Scott.  She was the sister that took care of my grandfather Reid Butler Sr after his mother had passed.  I have no idea where the name Frank came from."
