• I have not Found the 1900 census entry for Curtis Edward, when he should be about 3 years old in the home of his father Solomon Lewis Dumond.  I have not I could not find any census entry for Sol and his family in between 1870 and 1900.
  
  In 1910 Curtis Edward is in the household of his father Solomon Lewis Dumond and stepmother Jennie Watkins (Wadkins) in LaGrue Township of Arkansas County, Arkansas.  His father and stepmother have been married about one year.

  Curtis' employer, W E Pittman, was his father-in-law William Pittman.  His wife was Jacie Belle Pittman.  I found details about her family in a genealogy of the Battershell lineage out of England and Maryland.  Jacie was born n Harrison County, Indiana, as were both her parents, William Emerson Pittman and Mary Ann Pearson.  I found this information two days after I had learned from their daughter Vergie's obituary that Jacie's maiden name was Pittman.
