Notes
- In 1920, Dock is single and living in the household of his parents, working on the family farm. His older brother George is with the family, as well as their widowed sister Agnes Beavers and her daughter Lillian.

In 1930, George is apparently now the head of his mother's household, after his father passed away in 1928. Dock is still single, living in Murray County where he was born. In his household the census reports Agnes Terry, age 40, and daughter Lillian (reported as Dock's niece), age 15, as well as Dock's mother. Agnes and Lillian are also still in the household.

It was hard to tell what this last name was meant to be. It looks like Ned or Md with a period. The 1920 census, which I found much later, was clearer in indicating this name is Ned. This must derive from Oneida, the middle name of Martha Oneida Bates.
The listing here of Agnes as Dock's sister is odd. Her last name is reported as Terry, though she is a widow, having been married to William Beavers. Her daughter also should have been reported as Beavers. But also her birth place is shown as Texas, though both her parents were born in Georgia. Other Terry genealogies of this branch of Terrys report Agnes as born in Murray County, like the rest of the clan.
Did her parents at some time move to Texas with some of the other Terrys, then move back? Agnes' birth is right after the period of time when I find Thomas Duncan Terry in the Waco, Texas, area. Other related Terrys moved to other Texas counties from earlier. After the birth of Thomas Duncan's first child, Julia Virginia, in 1880, he and his wife Martha moved back to Murray County until 1900, when they moved to Indian Territory shortly after the 1900 census.
So Agnes' parents, who were born in Georgia, would have moved to Texas for some period, where Agnes was born. At some point before Lillian was born, Agnes moved back to Georgia, where Lillian is reported to have been born.
There is no indication in Terry genealogies that Dock's parents ever left Murray County, Georgia. They both died there. Dock's father William Joseph died in 1928. Maybe they moved to Texas, as several of the Terry clan did, and then moved back home before they died?
