- A member of the Butler family reports a both a brother and a sister with similar names: Frances M and Francis M. Sarah Ingram reporting on this family from the Ingram side has only Frances M Butler as a child of Thomas F Butler. Sarah has dates and place of birth of all the children she lists.
I can find no records for Francis M Butler. Some genealogies report the place of death as Jackson, Rankin, Mississippi, but with no documentation. However, Jacksoin is in Hinds County, and Rankin is the neighboring county to the east. As far as I have been able to determine, Jackson does not cross the county line in to Rankin County.
A couple have the year of death as 1920, but again no documentation or sourcing. Three genealogies report her husband as Pinkney G Spain.
