  Obituary of Alice Lamorne Tucker Beard

  Alice Lamorne Beard, 87, went to her heavenly home on December 7, 2014 surrounded by her family and friends. Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Tucker and Alma Frazier Tucker; her devoted husband, Herbert Cecil Beard; and son, Bruce Beard; two brothers, Floyd and Frank Tucker; five sisters, Mary Collins, Ida Wilson, Genie Hammons, Nellie Ramsey, and Rosa Tucker.
  
  Alice was born on August 29, 1927 in Vilonia, Arkansas. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and reading. She faithfully read and studied her Bible. A favorite pastime [sic] of hers was researching and recording her family genealogy. She kept record of the births of her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
  
  Alice was a faithful member of First Pentecostal Church for 52 years. Her church family was as dear to her as her own family. She is survived by her sons, Jesse Randall Beard (Delaine) of Jacksonville, AR, and Jack Beard (Louise) of Jacksonville, AR; sixteen grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren; and twenty great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Eddith Ridout, and Aretha Jenkins; and one brother, Aubrey Tucker.
  
  Visitation will be held at First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, AR, Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. The funeral service will also be held at First Pentecostal Church on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery [North Little Rock, Arkansas].
