  Rose B. Wallace, age 80 of Whitney, died Wednesday, October 5, at a local hospital. Graveside services were Thursday, October 6. in the Peoria Cemetery in Peoria, Texas with the Reverend Curtis McGehee officiating.
  
  Mrs. Wallace was born on February 20, 1914 in Caldwell, Texas. She was the daughter of Andrew and Rosa Adley. She was born in Caldwell, Texas. She married Joseph Wallace on November 16, 1951. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1975. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter Ethel Marie. She lived in the Whitney area since 1954. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Whitney. She was a homemaker.
  
  Mrs. Wallace is survived by one daughter, Anne Sprangue of Whitney; one son, Vernon DeChaume; four granddaughters, Diana Settle of Littleton, Col, Donna Hawkins of Garland, Deanna DeChaume of Garland and Cyndee Christlieb of Auburn, Indiana; five great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters.
