Notes

• Kelly (Callie) and another sister Lucy are reported by Bertie L McSwain, but are missing from the 1880 census.  Bertie did not know for sure where they are in the birth order.  Bertie did not provide birth dates but lists Lucy before Fannie and Kelly after Fannie.  In the 1900 census, both these daughters are in the household of their father John Miller.  Here we learn they were both born after 1880.  Kelly appears as the widowed Callie Crabtree, age 17, with her son Elden (Eldon).  Lucy is age 15, and single.
  
  Their father is reported as Widowed, even though their mother is also reported in this census, living alone a few doors down, and also reported as Widowed!  So between the birth of Lucy in 1884 and the 1900 census, John and Mary divorced.  Probably acrimoniously, since both report in the 1900 census that they are widowed.  In the 1910 census, John still reports he is a widower, while Mary is reported as divorced!

  Additionally Paul reports that Callie married a third time to a man named Bell, with no further details.  But her California Death Record (see below) has her name as Bell.
  
  Another census provides Callie's middle name Donna, matching the initial D in Paul Houston's genealogy.  But strangely she has the first name as Clara, even though on an accompanying photo the name is Callie.
