• The first indication I had of Lila Mae was in a genealogy with very little information and no documentation.  But the details of the information they had indicated they were presenting family information.

  This basic information on Lila led to another genealogy with information on her parents.  This genealogy, along with several others lacking documentation, have her name as Lila Mae Lee Vinson.  THe name Lee does show up in her Social Security records, in a name change reported in December 1961 to Lila Mae Lee, indicating a second married name.  Her first husband Woodrow Green did not die until 1968, so this must mean that Lila and Woodrow divorced some time before December 1961.

  Lila Mae's Social Security record shows that in 1961, Lila Mae married someone named Lee.  But Woodrow did not died until 1968, so they must have divorced.  Or Social Security has confused two different records for two similar persons.  Social Security records report she also married someone named Dawson in about October 1971.
