  • I have not found many sources of information for Ntiia Rawlinson Jackson.  Two or three genealogies I have seen spell her name Nishia or Neshia.  They may be following census entries.  It is also possible there are actual family records with one of these spellings, though none of these genealogies cite such records.  Spellings were not as much in focus nor standardized in that era.

    But I found that in his WWI draft registration, her husband Edward spells his wife's name Nitia.  The whole card appears to be in his own handwriting, matching his signature, so I am using this spelling for her name.
