Notes
- There is a discrepancy in the age of Nannie between the 1900 and 1910 censuses.
In 1900 she is reported as 16 years old, and this matches the birth date given in the census, March 1884.

Note that in the application, the bride's residence is reported as Marlow, Indian Territory, yet the pastor's certificate indicates he performed the ceremony at the bride's residence in Comanche County, Oklahoma Territory.
But in the 1910 census, her age is given as 22, which would not match a birth year of 1884.

In 2013 I found a photo in an old family collection from my father in which Nannie's sister, my grandmother Julia Virginia Terry Jenkins, had written what apeared to be Nannie's name as Nannie Lawton. This was the first indication I had found of any marriage. No searches have turned up any information or person named Lawton. But her grandmother Martha Wall Terry's obituary, which was discovered in 2017, reported Nannie as a surviving daughter under the name Nannie Fain, Lawton. Her sister's notation on the back of her early photo may have meant this was Nannie in Lawton, where she lived.
A marriage record for a Nannie Terry with a Jum Fain was finally found in February 2018, based on this name in her mother's obituary. The record, however, was in Bell County, Texas. This was not out of the question, since some of the same Terry family had moved to nearby counties in the 1800s. Nannie's parents had lived in McLennan County, then moved back to Georgia after Nannie's older sister Jennie was born in Texas.

Sources and facts were few on Nannie, and information on her husband(s) even more scarce. Only in September 2015, did a search on the growing online library of Ancestry.com turn up a Social Security record in a recently-added record set. This reported that Social Security records had a different name for her, but confirmed it was the same person, with the parents' names as known in family information and other records. Here Nannie Jane is called Annie Jane.
A second married name is also discovered here, with a name change reported in her record in December 1943 to Annie Jane Madison. These clues gave us her and her second husband's grave memorials in Find a Grave. It is interesting that her Social Security records do not reflect her first marriage to (Unknown First Name) Lawton. This is probably because she did not apply for a Social Security account until after his death, and she applied in her maiden name.
In the 1940 census she was reported as Nannie Madison, but in 1950 she signed the order for her husband's military gravestone as Mrs Annie Jane Madison. No record has been found for Nannie/Annie in the Social Security Death Index. Note that the following SS record has no death date.
U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007
Annie Jane Madison [Annie Jane Terry]
Birth 12 Mar 1884 Murry, Georgia
Father Name Thomas D Terry
Mother Name Mattie W Wall

With this information a burial record was found in a memorial on Find a Grave. Nannie was buried in her hometown, Marlow, Oklahoma. I note here that her first name Nannie is reported here as her nickname. Her sister, Julia Virgina Terry reported her name as Nannie Jane Terry.
