• In the 1900 census Minnie was reported in the household of her chidren, with a birthday of July 1889.
  
  In 1900 Zene is still in Cass County, Texas with his family, but he is now a widow.  His wife Elizabeth died in 1892.

  Note that the Social Security record has the birth palce as Bryansville.  No town of this name can be located in Texas.  Her death certificate clarifies that it wsa Bryans Mill, a well-known locale in Cass County, esat Texas on the border with Arkansas and Luisiana.  This was the home of the Christians before some moved farther west into Texas or Indian Territory.
