In 1910, Stewart and his wife Irene are enumerated in Cass County, where he grew up.  Irene was born in Illinois.  The likely grave of Nona Lee, in fact, reports her birth date was 30 January 1910.

Stewart's mother here is named as Jane, but his mother's name was Julia E Ward.  The age here also fails to match Julia's birth date in 1857.  But every census age for Julia matches this.  Even the 1900 census reports her birth date as September 1856 (while the date on her grave is 17 September 1857).  But even so, the 1900 census still reports Julia's age as 48!

The number of children matches Julia's report in the 1900 census, when she was living with her son Ira.  Birth birth state information differs here, being Alabama for Jane and her parents.  All previous censuses have reported Julia born in Georgia.  But Alabama matches this census report of the birth state of Stewart's mother.

There is another Texas birth record of a child who must have died before the 1910 census.  But no death or burial record has been found for this child.  No geneder is reported for this infant.

I have found three Jenkins entries in Oklahoma for J S and his children.  The details from family sources are spotty, so there are some uncertainties.  I have not found a grave or death information for Irene.

J S matches J Stewart Jenkins, son of John Cullen Jenkins and Julia Ward Jenkins.  Nona Lee matches Nona Lee, daughter of JS in Wommack-Jenkins genealogy by Dottie Wommack McNeely, a Jenkins descendant.  Nona's age of 2 months in April 1910 matches the birth date on this grave.  These deaths in 1918 were probably because of the flu epidemic.

Jack matches a son Jack in Dottie Wommack's Cass County genealogy, but she has no date of birth for Jack.  But Jack here was born in 1906, and does NOT appear in the 1910 census of the family.  Floyd's reported age of 2 years in 1910 census above would make him born in 1908, not 1906.  But 2 years error is not unusual in censuses, due to different census dates and where birth dates fall.  Dottie has no Floyd in this family, though he is in the 1910 census.

The death and burial of Stewart and his daughter Nona in 1918 and his son Jack in 1922 tells us that Stewart and Irene moved from Cass County, Texas, to McCurtain county, Oklahoma (just north of the Red River) before 1920 and Irene continued there after 1920.  No record of Irene and Jack in the 1920 census has been found.
