That is possible, since the marriage is reported to have occurred in Laurens County. I found what appears to be William Bradford in the 1830 census. William Bradford should be 29 in 1830. So this entry seems to match him.
1830 Federal Census, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, page 285
Bradford Strange 1 male under 5 years, 1 male 20-30, 1 female 20-30
In 1840, the following entry for Bradford Strange in 1840 seems to match William Bradford, who should be 39 in 1840. We find him living near his father Amos,
Now in Laurens District (County).
1840 Federal Census, Laurens District, South Carolina, page 285
Bradford Strange 1 male under 5 years, 2 male 5-10, 1 male 10-15, 1 male 30-40
1 female under 5 years, 1 female 20-30 [same age range as in 1830]
His brother (Little) Berry Strange is also a few houses away also, enumerated on the same page. There is also a David Strange living a couple of houses from Bradford.
1840 Federal Census, Laurens District, South Carolina, page 285
Berry Strange 2 male under 5 years, 2 male 5-10, 2 male 10-15, 1 male 30-40
1 female under 5 years, 1 female 30-40
1840 Federal Census, Laurens District, South Carolina, page 285
David Strange 1 male under 5 years, 1 male 15-20, 1 female 15-20
A Descendant gave me the sequence of generations From William thorugh his son and successive generations down to the present.
"Orville, I'm a 5th great grandson of Amos Strange, b. 1759, in Halifax Co., Va., and d. 1842, in Spartanberg, S. C. I am descended from his son, William Strange, b. 1791, and from his son, David William Strange, b. 1815, and died in 1869, in Walker Co., Georgia, and then from his son, Capt. William Strange, b. 1836, in Spatanberg, S. C., and died in 1901, in Chelsea, Oklahoma,"
