Notes

  • I have found no documentation of Bruno's first name.  Official records always refer to him only as Bruno Hamrick, except for the 1910 census where he is Ortho B.  Even his WWI draft card and his death certificate have only Bruno Hamrick.  Various genealogies have his first name as Orthro, Ortho, Othro or Otto.  The most common is Orthro.  Amelia Hamrick says the spelilng in Bruno's mother's Bible is Othro.

"The spelling of Bruno´s first (Othro) is in his mother´s family Bible that Carolyn R. Hamrick has."
