Notes
- I started my genealogy of the Gregorys and Greens with the extensive family information Loretta had gathered for the Gregorys and Greens and related famlies. Much of my early material I got in the from of notes I took from conversations, with Loretta, my aunt, in 1980-81 and later years.
William H H Gregory is reported as the first child of Patrick Gregory and wife Julia A C, in the 1880 census of Jefferson County, Tennessee. This name matches the full name known by the descendants of Dock and Julia Ann, William Henry Harrison. In that census, W H H is 1 month old, meaning he was born in the month of May 1880. This also matches the family's date of 11 May 1880. It is interesting that in his WWI draft registration, Harrison reported his birth year as 1879.

Before the 1900 census, Harrison's parents Dock and Julia moved their famliy to Chickasaw Nation. THey moved first to North Texas, where they had a farm outside McKinney, in Collin County, one county south of the Red River. We can tell by the birth date and state of Wiley that they moved to Texas between August 1893 and August 1897, when Wylie was born inTexas. So their move north across the Red River was some time after Wiley's birth.

When Harrison registered for the WWI draft, Harrison reported his birth year as 1879, though the 1880 census reports that at that time he was 1 month old, which matches the date recorded in family records and hsi grave, 11 May 1880.
