  Various genealogies reperot that this Ulissa is a tually Adalissa Hopper.  Note that the following genelaogy reprots the year of death as 1856.  The date on her grave is 1857, which I would take as definitive.

  If Adalissa died in April of either 1857 or 1856, it appears that she is not the mother of Hugh's son Peter Willis McSwain, who is reported as 2 years old in 1860, thus born in about 1858.  At age 2, however, it could have been later 1857.  However, in 1880, Peter is reported as 21, making it more likely tat he was born in mid to later 1858, not 1857.  I have found no actual birth record, or burial information that reports his birth date.  It seems more likely that Peter's mother was Catherine Davis, who would have thus married Hugh Kerr McSwain in about 1857 or the first part of 1858.  I have found no marriage record for them.
  
  The children reported in Adalaiss's memorial on Find a Grave are calculated by Find a Grave form memorials that have ben posted.  So this list cannot be exhaustive.
