• "Israel (my gr- grandfather) was born in SC and I think, maybe, traveled to GA, then on to North LA.  His wife, Martha Catherine McKee, was born in GA, but they married in LA, so I think Israel traveled with the McKees and probably other families to LA."

  The official address of the cemetery is Benton, but it is about 6 miles north of Benton, west of Highway 3, which runs on up to Plain Dealing.
