ETHEL, Ark. -- Graveside rites for Ethel Jenkins, 81, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Chute Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Brown officiating.
Born Feb. 17, 1916, at Ethel, Ark., to Willie and Leona Criswell Poston, she died July 3, 1997, at Tishomingo, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Jenkins, in 1973.
Mrs. Jenkins grew up in Arkansas and lived in California for several years before moving to Oklahoma. She had lived in the Mill Creek area for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary McDonald, Mill Creek, OK and Helen Lindell, Midwest City, OK; one son, George Harold Jenkins, Tujunga, Calif.; one brother, W. H. Poston, St. Charles, Ark.; three sisters, Christine Brown, Texarkana, Ark., Lucy Smith, DeWitt, Ark., and Ida Lee Berry, Breckenridge, Texas; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
