John Henry Barnett's birth date reported above off his grave is impossible for the father of John B Barnett, given the details we know about John B Barnett's life. John B's census ages make his birth about 1822-1824, but one makes it about 1815. The report of John B's participation in the Seminolian Wars (in about 1836-38) also makes it unlikely he was born much later than about 1820. It makes me think the wrong grave has been referenced, for another John Henry Barnett, instead of the John H Barnett who was the father of John B Barnett who married Minerva Owens. John B's parents seem to be John H Barnett, born in Virginia, and Elizabeth Robertson, born in Georgia, where John B was born.
