    Obituary of Emma Zetta Barbee Dixon
    Mrs. Frank Dixon.

    Emma Zetta Barbee was born in Sullivan County, MO. March 1, 1869 and departed this life June 1, 1949, at the Perkins hospital, Spearville, at the age of 80 years and 3 months..

    She was united in marriage June 21, 1885, to Frank M. Dixon of Sullivan, County, MO. To this union ten children were born. Her husband and three children, Edith Bell, Alice Evelyn, who became Mrs. Kenneth Burnett, and Clarence Seth, preceded her in death. She was baptized and became a member of the Christian church of Kinsley, Oct. 1, 1920. In the fall of 1886, they moved to Hodgeman County, Ks., where they lived the most of their lilves, except for a short stay in Gunnison, Colo. and Kinsley, Ks. .

    She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Herman Westphal and Mrs. Lou Reed of Kinsley; Mrs. Carl Whitney of Kenniwick, Washington; Mrs. Lee Burleson of Port Orchard, Wash. and Mrs. Harold Smith of Deerfield; two sons, Guy and Rol of Kinsley; four sisters, one brother, 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends..

    Pall bearers were two grandsons, Paul Reed and Gerald Dixon and four nephews, Curt, Laurence, Edward and Paul Dixon..
