    DeWitt - Nora Elizabeth Horton Watson, age 89, of DeWitt died Tuesday, August 12, 2014. She was born September 15, 1924 in Ethel to Richard Malcolm and Susie Anna Turner Horton. She was the owner/operator of Watson Hardware, was a member of First Baptist Church, Ruritan, Arkansas County Fair Board, The Cattlemen's Association and was a 4 H Alumni.

    Survivors include a son: Kenneth Watson (Karen) of DeWitt; sisters: Sue Noble (Phillip) of Morrilton, Linda Cummings (Harley) of Carlisle, Judy Depriest (Ken) of Stuttgart, Nancy Posey (Ronnie) of Bartlett, TN, Polly Emmons of Redfield; brothers: Tommy Horton (Wanda) of DeWitt, Haynes Horton (Lillian) Of Pine Bluff, Floyd Horton of Ethel, Jimmy Horton (Ruby) of DeWitt; grandchildren: Keith Watson (Kristal), Heath Watson (Katy) Elizabeth Eason (Jake); great grandchildren: Laynie Watson, Jake Watson, Kenlee St. John, Owen St. John, Devin Eason, and her beloved dog, Crickett. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Estle Watson, son, Ronnie Watson; brothers: Max Horton, James Horton and sister, Geraldine Maddox.

    Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday, August 15th, at First Baptist Church with burial at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens by Essex Funeral Home. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday at the funeral home.
