Mrs. Mary Emma Tucker Ward, age 84, of 2012 Magnolia Street North Little Rock, wife of Alva R. Ward, died Saturday. Mrs. Ward was a member of Mount Carmel Methodist Church. Other survivors are a son, Virgil Ward, and a brother, Caleb Tucker, both of North Little Rock; a grandchild and a great-grandchild . Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Griffin Leggett by Rev. George Casteel. Pallbearers will be Carl Tucker, Hubert Tucker, Paul Tucker, Tharp Ramsey, Richard White and Sam Ross. Burial will be at Mount Olive Cemetery at Vilonia.
