Married Oliver CHAPEL

Notes

  • Nora married Oliver Chapel about 1906.  The location is uncertain.  The 1900 census reported Oliver living in his mother's home in Parker County, Texas, west of Fort Worth.  They were originally from Cass County, Texas, bordering Louisiana, not far from Texarkana.  In the 1910 census, Nora was reported born in Louisiana, but later censuses re[port her born in Texas, and her death certificate says she was born in Cass County, Texas.

This suggests that Oliver and Nora met in Cass County, but they were not married before Oliver's mother moved them to Parker County.  In 1910, Nora and Oliver is married are in Choctaw County, Oklahoma.  His mother is now living in their household.
