  A draft registration record appears to be for this son of Mary Frances Christian, with the same birth date as other records.  But the name is strange compared with other records.  The full name is given here as William Clemeit Christian.  He signs it with this full name.  I do not now this name Clemeit, and have not seen any other document with this middle name.  His name appears variously in other records as John, William and William M.  He lists his mother at a Phoenix address as his nearest relative.

  William and Ila were listed in two Phoenix City Directories.  In the 1931 edition they are living in the same household with WIlliam's brother Howard, as the 1930 census had reported.  His brother Clyde is also listed with his family.
