Services were held Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Colonial Hills Baptist Church [in Southhaven, Mississipppi], where she was a member of Senior Adult Choir, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery South. Forest Hill Funeral Home South has charge.

    She was a former volunteer for Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto.

    Mrs. Long, the widow of Claud A. Long, leaves a daughter, Karen Reid of Houston, Texas; two sons, Wayne Long of Colleyville, Texas, and Dennis Long of Houston; a sister, Evalee Sinkie of Dallas, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
