Green appears in censuses with different middle initials, Green S, Green N and no initial.

In the 1900 census no children are in their household but they have been married 12 years.  This census reports Callie's birthday as May 1872, but the year  of death on her grave is 1871.  This is a common conflict in the 1900 census birth dates.  The grave has only the year of death.  Lacking no other sources, I usually favor the grave in these cases.

This census reports Green's birthday as Jan 1850, but he is not in the 1850 census.  Further, the last child is his sister Nancy, who is reported as only 11 months old,  So the later birthday of about 1854 makes sense.
